Currently...

 

It all started when my bestie brought two tomato plants to the house one afternoon. I had mentioned in passing a few months prior that I wanted to start gardening and low and behold one day in May out of the blue I had a cherry tomato plant and a beefsteak tomato plant with absolutely no clue about what to do with them. After a few google searches and YouTube videos I had a pretty basic list of supplies needed as well as some growing tips. 

Fast forward two months later I had blooms that were turning into fruit and tomato suckers I was propagating into new plants to give to family and friends. I was on the road to becoming a full blown gardener right? Now as I am typing this post I have my very first set of ripened cherry tomatoes.

I never thought in a million years that I would ever be a person growing my own food but I honestly have to say that this is one of the most rewarding experiences. There is really something amazing when witnessing a wee sprout gradually grow into a mature plant bearing fruit. Oh, the wonders of nature.
